In a hidden place somewhere behind the “mogotes” in Viñales/Cuba passionate aficionados meet for the illegal cock-fight! Many people in this western part of the country are descendents from the Canary islands in Spain.
If these guys really have the capacity to learn guaganco/rumba? Pedro is a well known Cuban rumba dancer and that particular day he had been hired for a private lesson in Vedado/Havana.

This was a peculiar dog that absolutely refused to enter the kitchen in this farmhouse in Viñales/Cuba. The other dog of the house was on the other hand constantly running in and out of the same room.
So he had his window where he looked in every now and then with that kind of hungry look on his face! In the background you see tobacco plants, very common in this region of Cuba.

A little bit outside central Viñales, Cuba there are three houses in a row. This is the Nodas territory. Not much earthly possessions but lots of warmth.. I think it shows in the faces!
