Ticking over 30 000 thousand visits
Perhaps my most frequent theme is pictures from Cuba, a country in which I have travel around six times.
Here´s another image from Viñales in the western part of the country.
Bésame mucho
That well-known song was written by the Mexican woman Consuelo Velázquez.. This is Puerto Esperanza at the northern cost of Cuba. He called the photographer “un monstruo” laughed and later invited me for a glass of rum in their vacation cabin.

A simple day-to-day struggle, working their own small plantation. Not many material belongings.. they have each other.
As you can see this is not a planned family portrait. Otherwise the working outfit would have been replaced!

The land of Guajiros
When I go to Cuba I always find an excuse to visit the Viñales valley. The bird flying in the center is a “tiñosa” (buzzard).
