Wet wait
No umbrella and the rain is pouring?
I took that photo but I kind of stole the scene. 10 meters to the right the fire brigade is producing some nice rain. The soaked man in the suit is a hired model. Above me in a crane is the photographer Håkan Ludwigsson (Conde Nast Traveller) working.
The whole thing added up as an advertising for Göteborgs Posten (on his head) the biggest newspaper in Gothenburg.

Caught by one of those heavy showers that suddenly appears in this region of the Indian Ocean. She seemed happy enough anyway and after a short while the sun was dominating the scene again.

..cultures. This is Angered, a suburb to Gothenburg. If you find names like Johansson or Pettersson on the sign at the entrance they are considered a bit exotic and hard to pronounce.

Sailors wife
Waving to the pilot… Originally the statue, facing the river Göta älv in Gothenburg is a monument in honour to the sailors that died during the first world war.
Bésame mucho
That well-known song was written by the Mexican woman Consuelo Velázquez.. This is Puerto Esperanza at the northern cost of Cuba. He called the photographer “un monstruo” laughed and later invited me for a glass of rum in their vacation cabin.
