The tower of Manaca Iznaga

At the peak of sugar industry there were more than fifty cane sugar mills in operation in Valle de los Ingenios in southern Cuba outside of Trinidad.

The tower (from wich the picture is taken)  and the bell in top of it was partly used as an alarm in case of fire or escaping slaves.
