After hours of climbing we reach the windy top at 1,312 meters. This is p
highest point on the island of Sao Nicolau. There are higher mountains in Africa but the sea surrounding this island is just a few kilometers away, so that and the fact that we left the clouds 300 meters below us makes it a breathtaking experience.
